With being under the sun, absorbing the heat, and uses of soaps and hand sanitizers, what it deserves is a day to be pampered and shown with love and gratefulness.
First, we start with washing our faces.
Washing our face helps in getting rid of makeup residues, dirt, and reduces excess oil on our faces. Not only that, but it helps the skin prepare for the routine. To clean our faces with unwanted pollutants, it is best to use warm water so that it can get rid of oils and other excess or residues, that cold water is unable to do but keeps the natural oil of our skin which can be rid of if we use hot water which could damage our skin.
2. Face cleansers.
Cleansers are responsible for cleaning makeup residues, dirt, and excess oil deep within your pores that you are unable to get rid of by simply washing your face. Using facial cleansers can help with unclogging the pores that will give our skin the ability to breathe and help with shedding off our skin’s dead cells while keeping our skin hydrated.
3. Toner.
If we haven’t removed the last traces of pollutants yet, using toners can make sure that there is none left. Toners are also used to keep your skin’s ph balanced maintain. After cleansing the pores of your faces using the face cleanser, did you know that toners could also be responsible for shrinking your pores? Additionally, using facial toners can make your skin feel refresh more than ever.
4. Serums.
Using serums comes in with a lot of benefits. For one, it helps with brightening the face and reduces the dark spots and acne breakouts by its exfoliating capabilities. If you have an oily skin type it is good to use hydrating serums and hyaluronic serums with vitamin c for dry skin types and acne-prone skins.
5. Moisturizer.
Moisturizers are for keeping your skin from being dry but it could also reduce the blemishes with daily use. Moisturizers are used after the serums dry off the skin, to put a layer of protection. For the oily types of skin, make sure to use a water-based moisturizer, and an oil-based moisturizer once for dry skin types. However, if you have a sensitive type of skin some moisturizer could be too harsh for your skin, it is best to use a moisturizer with aloe vera or other soothing ingredients to keep your skin from being damaged.
6. Sunscreen.
As we all know, Protects us from the sun’s damaging heat. It is safe to use sunscreen every day as it prevents your skin from getting skin cancers later in life. The sun can also make our skin age faster as it can damage the elastin of our skin allowing wrinkles to appear.
It is advisable to wash your face in the morning and then at night. Use only facial cleansers, toners, and moisturizers at night. Sunscreens and serum are only to be used in the morning.

2. Exercising regularly: If you exercise daily you would see that after a week of doing it continuously, your skin is looking glow and feels healthier. When exercising the body helps with your blood circulation and as well as the circulation of oxygen in your body. Exercises can also reduce stress which can also decrease the production of your acne.
3. Do not forget the neck!: A lot of people forget to care for our neck. but what we don't is that the early signs of aging can be found on our necks. Starting now, make sure you get it in there! add you moisturizer, serums and sunscreens to your neck.
4. Get enough sleep: You work hard every day, and your skin does too. When we get our proper rest our bodies are working their best to repair cells. Practicing our 8 - 9 hours of sleep could contribute to decreasing the puffiness of the eyes, maintaining the hydration of our skins, and helps with building up collagen.
Your skin is beautiful!
With marks or without, symptoms of aging or not, your skin is beautiful. Everybody’s skin is different, and so it reacts differently from one another and that is why it is not wise for us to compare. Having wrinkles, freckles, and acne is very natural. It is our skin’s way to communicate with us, showing what it needs or what it is lacking.
Be reminded that having skincare or being passionate about taking care of your skin and keeping it healthy isn’t an act of selfishness but an act of loving ourselves. And as we would want to get the love that we deserve, your body does too!
When to see a doctor.
If your acne doesn’t go away or isn’t responding after your continuous use of your skincare routine, it is needing something else, in this case, it is best to stop right there and go see a doctor.
