Movies to Watch on Valentine's day

Valentine's day is the celebration of love. It is the day that we allow ourselves to show our affection, give our time and attention to the people who we love.

If you chose to spend your valentines indoors, Netflix and chill are the simplest but one of the nicest ways to celebrate it. Here is the list of movies that we think you'd like to watch on February 14th.

• The notebook - The classic film to watch on valentine's day (or any other day) a lot if we have probably watched it a thousand times but we couldn't deny that it is an amazing film. In life, people come and go. Sometimes they come back and sometimes they don't. In this film, you'd figure out if a person truly loves you or not.

• When Harry met Sally - if you believe in fate or red strings when it comes to love and destiny, you'd enjoy "When Harry met Sally". This film will show you how precious a relationship can be. What true love holds, where it could come from and who it might become. It is one hell of a roller coaster and it is one of the greatest movies ever!

• To all the boys I've loved before - if you want a marathon, this is the film to watch. It has a sequel and the upcoming threequel is released on February 12! Watch Lara Jean in her adventure as her love letters from ones when she was younger, got sent to her past crushes.

• Breakfast at tiffany's - who wouldn't want to watch Audrey Hepburn on valentine's day? Breakfast at Tiffany's focuses on a writer who falls in love with a mysteriously wonderful socialite when he moved to New York. This film shows the beautiful little things in a blossoming relationship, and how a complicated person is worth loving.

• Notting hill - We all loved someone famous maybe once in our life. You dreamed of meeting said idols and hoping that they'd make eye contact and fall In love with you as If you are the one they've been looking for.

• Cinderella - Remember how we loved Fairy Tales when we were young? And we hoped to find our prince charming someday? Sometimes it's fun to feel like a kid again hoping to find romance like it was as easy as in fairy tales. If you're looking for a little nostalgia, I recommend that you watch Cinderella and watch her clothes transform into a beautiful blue ball gown and her shoes into glass slippers.

• Music and lyrics- if you wanted a little music, why not try a little bit of Drew Barrymore and Hugh Grant as they figure out how love can be similarly close to Music.

• 50 first dates - Just like the notebook, you'd learn to know what a person could do just to be with you. Even if it takes 50 first dates! Watch this film and be merged in love, wonderful music, and the sea.

• Love, Simmons - They say that in order to love, you must first know how to love yourself first. Well in this film, you can join Simmon in his rollercoaster adventure in finding the anonymous person he is in contact with through mail.

• A rainy day in New York - If you liked breakfast at tiffany's, you'd like this one too! Is it us or kissing under the rain is romantic? (If it doesn't get you pneumonia) Two people went to New York to enjoy their weekend together but watch as the rain turns their vacation into one big romantic adventure.

• Me before you - Me before you, focuses on a woman who wants to help her family but found love. This film shows how a person who loves you can do a lot of things to make you feel alive again.

• Crazy Rich Asians - Traditions are very common in Asians and so does love. In love, you love the person and along those who matter to them, even if sometimes they become a pain in the ass. Watch crazy rich Asians and see how true love looks past beyond what you have but rather love you for you.

• He's just not that into you - If you're spending the night alone or with your friends. This is the perfect movie! Finding love is not easy and sometimes it gets so confusing. "He's just not that into you" will show you how relationships can be complicated and how sometimes it will lead to heartbreak.

Love is love. and no matter what we do, it will always be in the air. Whether you spend Valentine's Day alone or not, let's appreciate all different representations of love. You don't have to find a date to celebrate valentine's day. Let us also appreciate our family and friends. If not and you're still spending it alone, that's perfectly fine! Because relationships with ourselves are also important and one that we should also celebrate on valentine's day.
